My daughter turned 13 this year and made the proclamation that she wanted a pink sapphire ring for her birthday. Since this was the first time she has asked for a specific piece of jewelry, we took it seriously and I wanted to get her something decent. Since real pink sapphire is quite costly, we opted for lab created sapphire.
After looking around at local jewelry stores and being a bit disappointed with the selection we looked on line and found this ring. Since we had already had our daughter's finger sized, it was a simple matter of selecting it and making the purchase.
So, now to the ring. The stone was bigger than I thought it was going to be, and it also sits up higher than I thought it would, but I don't see that as a problem as much as a preference. The stone is a vivid pink, but not so pink that it looks cheesy or fake, and the gold work is top notch. My daughter opened the box and instantly fell in love with it. She has yet to take it off.
If there is a complaint, it's that it might be sized a bit big - I don't know if this is an issue with the ring, or if it was a slight misjudgement made when her finger was sized, but she simply wears it on her middle finger and has no desire to get it sized - it's my understanding that I could have sent it back and exchanged it for a size one-half size smaller, but as long as she's happy, I'm happy.
It's a beautiful ring. It trumps anything we found locally and we have a number of nationally known jewelry stores in the area to include a Kay's and a Jared. I read a review that stated that someone got a ring with a loose stone - not here. Everything is top notch, and given the opportunity to do it over, I'd buy this ring again.

I absolutly LOVE this ring. I had it bookmarked for about 4 months before my boyfriend bought it for me, and it was worth the wait. The stone is a little darker than in the picture but its beatutiful. It was a little big on me so we took it to a Fred Meyers store and they were very helpful in getting it sized for me. I definitely recommend!

This ring is Truely Amazing!!! I got it for my Girl Friend for Christmas and was very happy with her reaction!! She loved it and never takes it off!! I think i am going to get her the matching necklace for Valentines Day. This is an Amazing piece of jewerly and is well worth the price. Thanks Amazon!!

My boyfriend bought me this ring for Christmas. It is very beautiful, but the sapphire was loose. We exchanged it for another one since the size was a little off, and the same thing happened - the sapphire is loose on this one too. We went to a Fred Meyer store and explained how we got it with the gem loose twice and that we wanted to get it tightened. The sales lady told us we couldn't get it tightened for free. That is my only complaint of this ring - both rings had the gem loose, and the company was not going to fix it for free. Jerks!
